  We used to visit Donahue's on an almost-daily basis in the late 80s and early 90s, as two summertime transplants from Texas and camp counselors at the Harrison Camp across the street, by Silver Lake. Pat was always a pleasure to deal with, and some nostalgia led me to look Donahue's up on Google Maps -- it was an absolute pleasure to learn it was still open. It was the one place that helped ease the culture shock ("Do you ride a horse to school? Do you live on a farm? Do you know what sneakers are?") for both us as well as the New York natives having to deal and interact with these two weird Texans. Pat, if you ever happen to read this, Jeff and Jennifer from Texas say, "Hello," and we're still very, very sorry for the "Playgirl Magazine Incident." We miss your store, we miss East White Plains, and we'll never forget the great times we had both at camp and in and around your store. We both hope you and your business are doing very, very well.
